360 Degree Pictures

Photography is being revolutionized with the new and improve 360-degree pictures. The new and innovative technology will allow for a single picture to capture the full 360-degree view from a single spot. Pictures can now be taken by using a contraption that has multiple cameras in a circle facing outwards in order to overlap the pictures and create a 360-degree camera

or a single camera that pivots around a single point capturing a 360-degree view of the surrounding area.
 Not only will this technology make people feel like they are in the setting in which the picture was taken, but it can also record events that can be beneficial in the future. An event that a 360-degree camera can be used at is a sports event.

Currently, an ecological researcher is using a 360-degree camera to record a forest in Massachusetts to assess climate change and the effects on the environment. A virtual-reality headset can also be used in order to feel like they are in the setting itself because of the fact that they need to rotate their body and head to look at different parts of the picture and video.

The price to buy a spherical camera can range to be about $200 to as high as thousands of dollars.

    I have seen the growth of these items get substantiality higher in the past years and honestly see it as a growing field! Believe it or not there are some cameras out there that offer pretty good visual representations to create pictures at a low cost. Personally I wouldn't need the most expensive items out there on the shelves but its cool to see that researches are finding them useful!

The world evolves around innovation, the constant growth of the web and technology creates an exciting time time to live in. One if the most recent innovation is hologram navigation. Soon you can be driving and receiving navigation just like your driving a car in a video game. The Navion is still being tested and in a prototype stage, however it projects a holographic imagery onto the windshield. A small device will be displaying navigation info and safety notifications where you can see them. The directions would be arrows on the road telling you which way to go allowing the driver to keep his eyes on the road rather then looking away from the road to their phones or navigation system.
