Smart homes, smart cars, but are we using them smarter?

Companies like amazon, at&t, and xfinity, have gotten onboard. There are ways to improve the quality of your life by utilizing technology to take care of the small stuff. Like changing the temperature when you wake up in the morning, to making your coffee, making sure your lights are off in the house, and door is locked. These are the little things we may forget and knowing we have systems and programs in place to make these things get done sounds great to me. Smartthings.com/products helps you integrate technology into the things you already have and know how to use.
        Some of the products on this website can be seperated into catagories hubs, integrations, voice assistants, lighting and switches. There are different brands 2gig, aeon labs, Amazon, Belkin and Bose. This website allows you to interface with a representative and ask questions about products.
One of my favorites is the cameras and doorbells, This really changed the market for security features The doorlocks are incredibly versatile and right now I see a great demand for them in the home.
          The way we integrate technology in our lives gives us freedom in many ways. The gap I see is learning how to effectively use these products. That's how we can really determine its value.

    One of my good friends has all of this stuff and it's very cool but also scary! While I was at her house talking to her outside, her husband came over the doorbell asking who she was talking to. He knew it was me and was trying to be funny BUT I thought ... what if someone hacked them ... they'd have access to EVERYTHING in and outside of the house. On the flipside ... being able to talk to people at the door and see what's happening at home when you're not there was kinda cool

Examples of Web 2.0 technology being used for social and business application are all around us. New technologies are appearing all the time. Everyone in this course is responsible for writing 2 new blog posts (do not reply to this one), with each being about 3-4 paragraphs long. Hologram Navigation is Now a Real Possibility

The world evolves around innovation, the constant growth of the web and technology creates an exciting time time to live in. One if the most recent innovation is hologram navigation. Soon you can be driving and receiving navigation just like your driving a car in a video game. The Navion is still being tested and in a prototype stage, however it projects a holographic imagery onto the windshield. A small device will be displaying navigation info and safety notifications where you can see them. The directions would be arrows on the road telling you which way to go allowing the driver to keep his eyes on the road rather then looking away from the road to their phones or navigation system.
